ReForm Meetup: Taceauxs and Tactical Urbanism

Hey ReFormers!

As promised, we are going to hold monthly meetings so that we can all get together and talk about building a better community and finding ways to put those ideas into action!

What will we discuss? Glad you asked! If you've been following us for a while, you've seen us post about some of the incremental improvements downtown like sidewalk patios, artwalks, and parklets. Some of these fall into the category of tactical urbanism, where we test out an idea to see how it affects the way we interact with our built environment.

We think tactical urbanism and other incremental test beds are an important way to improve our city, and we hope you'll join us at Parish Taceaux on Wednesday, February 20 from 6pm to 8pm to talk about how you could do the same thing in your own neighborhood.

Let's cultivate a more livable Shreveport together.
